The Knockout Cup, Last 16, will take place on Tuesday 5th March. The draw for this years Consolation Cup was made at tonight's Committee meeting and is as follows:- [b][u]Quarter Finals[/u][/b] Match 1: Letham v The Fab Match 2: Newgate 2 v Legion 1 Match 3: Cliffburn 2 v Ram's Heid Match 4: Newgate 1 v St Tams [b][u]Semi Finals[/u][/b] Match 5: Winner Match 1 v Winner Match 2 Match 6: Winner Match 3 v Winner Match 4 [b][u]Final[/u][/b] Match 7: Winner Match 5 v Winner Match 6 Consolation Cup Winners: Winner Match 7 These matches will be played at ADPL Finals Day on Sunday 28th May, at Shotz Pool and Snooker Hall. There will be a Captains meeting held at 11:30am, with play commencing at 12 Noon.

The 2023 Consolation Cup has eight teams entering the competition. There are no prelims required so all eight teams will now take their place at Finals Day on Sunday 28th May. These teams are:- 1 Cliffburn 2 2 Legion 1 3 Newgate 2 4 St Tams 5 The Fab 6 Newgate 1 7 Letham 8 Ram's Heid The draw for the quarter finals will be drawn and posted in here in advance of finals day. With 17 entries for this years Knockout Cup we have one prelim tie to play to reach the last 16 stage. This was drawn tonight under the guidance of Gordon Smith and Michael Bastow. The prelim tie, to be played next Tuesday (14th February), is: Cliffburn 2 v Merchants Usual start time of 8pm. Format is NINE Singles and FOUR Doubles (if required). Match is first to seven. Remaining frames can be played out but not essential. Winning team will take their place int he last 16 of the KO Cup. Losing team will enter the Consolation Cup. REMINDER - teams who do not field a team or honour their KO match will be excluded from the Consolation Cup.
