****The Portcullis Singles 2024**** The Portcullis Singles will return on Saturday the 16th of March 2024. As always, we will have a minimum of 4 supreme winner tables fitted with Hainsworth Match cloth available for the matches and depending on entries will aim to start with best of 5 in the first round, with an 11am sign in time. Entrants must be an ADPL registered player to be eligible. Food and drink will be available throughout the day from our popular restaurants menu as well as food specials for the event. Entry fee is £10, in line with most competitions these days, and entries are now being taken. This must be paid either directly to myself by cash or bank transfer (pm or comment for details) or left behind the bar in The Portcullis in a sealed envelope with your full name written clearly on the front. Remember to let me know straight away if leaving money behind the bar. **Deadline for entries is 8pm on Tuesday the 12th of March** to allow the draw to be carried out prior to the event. Football and Rugby will be on the TVs in the bar. There will also be live music on in the bar from around 8.30pm so why not make a night of it too.
